Hello loyal followers,
I know you have come by recently because as i just clicked into this long hibernated page, a chart showing a sharp upward curve on stats caught my eye. More about that later; stats, metrics, etta cetera.
How could it have been almost two years since i attempted to create this blog? Like everyone, i had very limited hours and found wordpress to be a challenge, though a powerful platform for self publishing (as we used to call it in the early days pre-”blog” LOL.)
Though i remembered it and meant to try again, that middle step of finding the original login served for many moons of procrastination. Meanwhile, i have only this past weekend put up a blog by the same name to which this one is attached. This is how i actually found my old account today. Hurrah!
Like most moderns, i have so many aspects to my self-expression that two blogs are not too many. All this discretion is much work and it would be easier to be quiet. Still, to the writer there is the impulse.
It becomes awkward and feels disingenious to draw too strong a demarc between various compartments of one’s life when one’s life is the source of the very impulse and the context for the blog, right?
Also, one of these may serve as the destination for my microblogs for web 2.0 sharing.
For those of you who have found this by looking for my NEWLY ESTABLISHED blog “mumicimo” by doing the obvious–putting the name of the blog in front of wordpress.com–then welcome! However, please take a look at the NEW page that i tweaked this weekend while the husband and family were out of town. Wow. How did i waste an entire weekend weaving another chapter of the web.
